Product Overview 

Advil Regular Strength (50 tablets) is an over‑the‑counter pain reliever and fever reducer whose active ingredient is ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti‑inflammatory drug (NSAID). It’s widely used for temporary relief of minor aches and pains and to reduce fever.

• Temporarily relieves common aches and pains such as: 

    • Headache & migraine discomfort 

    • Toothache and backache 

    • Muscle and joint pain 

    • Menstrual cramps 

    • Minor pain from arthritis and the common cold 

• Temporarily reduces fever.    


 

How It Works 

Advil’s active ingredient ibuprofen works by blocking the production of certain natural substances in your body that cause inflammation, pain, and fever.    


 

Dosage (Typical for Adults & Children 12+) 

• Take 1 tablet every 4–6 hours while symptoms last. 

• If pain or fever isn’t relieved after 1 tablet, 2 tablets may be used. 

• Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.    


 

Active & Inactive Ingredients 

• Active: Ibuprofen 200 mg per tablet (NSAID pain reliever/fever reducer). 

• Inactive: Includes binders, coatings, fillers like colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and others used to form the tablet.    


 

General Safety Notes 

• Take with food or milk to minimize stomach upset. 

• Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice. 

• As with all NSAIDs, use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed.
